This website is part of a 3rd year CAD (computer aided design) course. It was created by Esther Hjelmstrom a student of the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture Degree at Unitec in Auckland, New Zealand.

The brief required the students to create an imaginary city, or in this case a town. The city was to assemble from our perception of some form of descriptive text. Choosing the description of ‘Esgaroth’ a laketown in tolkiens famous fantasy ‘the hobbit’, I perceived what you will explore on the following pages.
